1. EVERY LIVING THING HAS A SOUL. The Soul gives life to that creature within whom it resides. And the Soul is an aspect of God, and the term "Consciousness" is (I believe) Neutral Spiritual Energy, or "NSgy", which is the Energy of God, the Lord, or Father of all Souls. The fact that we are all different is simply to make life interesting.
2. Every Soul is slowly evolving by "Completing" bits of Karma. But, this is a very slow process because most people deny "responsibility" for the Karma they have to face in life. Each Soul is born with a "Fate Karma" that has to be faced in that lifetime. And if they deny responsibility for the Karma, then it will come back again in another lifetime. We Souls are given as much time as we need to awaken to this particular bit of Reality.
3. To insure that every Soul is treated equally in the Creation, God Created the Law of Karma, which is administered equally to every Soul. The phrase "every thought and action one has or takes, creates a bit of Karma"... applies to every Soul. When a Soul takes an action, or has a thought, that sets up a bit of Karma that will come back to that Soul at some point. And what generally happens is that when that Karma comes back to a Soul, the Soul "thinks" that that bit of Karma is unfair, unjust, and thus reacts negatively to that bit of Karma... which simply sends that bit of Karma around again. To be dealt with in some other lifetime. And every Soul in Creation has a load of such Karma... that keeps that Soul tied to the Creation. In the West, most people are not aware of this bit of Reality.
4. To help people awaken to the Reality of Karma, God sends Mystics and Saints into the Creation. This is precisely what Christ was, and Christ did his best to explain this... but few people believed him. This is true even today. A person is fortunate if he or she comes across such a Mystic, and is able to "hear" what the Mystic is saying.
So, the purpose of life is to explore and experience the Creation. And fortunate is the Soul that learns what I have just written above. The only way to eliminate a bit of Karma is to take full responsibility for the Karma that comes one's way, and to forgive entirely those who are part of such Karma. And the benefit of doing so is that the bit of Karma is converted back into Consciousness...which you invested into producing that bit of Karma in the first place! The fact is... those people whose lives are difficult are responsible for the difficulty in their lives... but hardly anyone knows this! People have, by their past actions in past lifetimes created the bits of Karma they are experiencing in this lifetime. THIS IS A REALLY IMPORTANT POINT... is it not?
Well, this explanation of the Law of Karma is important for all of us to take to heart. It casts a very different light on what we see going on all around us.
