AND CAN IT BE DONE?
I coined the term "Esochology" specifically to refer to an American approach to what the ancient Greeks referred to as "Psychology". That is, an approach that utilizes the faculty of Intuition [I believe Intuition is an aspect of Consciousness]...which is the Energy of the Soul, I believe... that Fritz Perls was just beginning to discover... but did not have the time to fully develop what I am talking about before he died.
The difference between the "Mystic" who is a genuine Spiritual adept, and the person who thinks of him or herself as a Mystic... is the level of "Intuition" that person possesses. What is "Intuition" you might ask? Within every person on Earth is the potential of possessing a highly developed form of "insight"[awareness of one's Spirituality]... that we refer to as "Intuition". And Intuition is the ability of a person's Soul [ normally not in a way so as to awaken that person to the SOURCE of his or her "insight"].... very subtle bits of Truth to the Conscious Awareness of that person... of which he of she is not intellectually aware.
The peculiar thing about Intuition is that although the person awakening to a bit of Truth in the form of Intuition... has the sudden awareness of the Knowledge inherent in that awareness--- however, he or she will find that he or she is unable to intellectually articulate or otherwise convey what he or she has suddenly awakened to.... to anyone else.
How come? Because Truth does not exist on this physical plane of existence. And therefore, we have not developed words that contain the Energy of Truth as part of our language. And if this last bit of verbiage does not explain what I mean, the reason is what I just said.
Quite literally, Truth does not exist on the physical plane of existence. But neither does one's Soul exist as part of this physical plane of existence. That a person becomes aware of a bit of Intuition... suggests that that person possesses a Soul that has acquired a larger amount of Spirituality than most Souls.
What causes a person to "lose" one's Spirituality? It is our attachment to the Illusion of this physical plane of existence. But perhaps you were not aware that this physical plane is a most fantastic Illusion? And the reason we cannot find the Truth on this Earth is... this Earth is all Created from "nothing"... so to speak. And that is truly something, is it not?
But that is likely sufficient for today.
Peace, 1 Bother James
